Abstract	З метою виведення визначення для депозитного ринку як окремого сегмента фінансового ринку у статті було виділено основні підходи до визначення поняття “депозит” та представлено авторське бачення цієї категорії. Було досліджено такі теоретичні засади функціонування депозитного ринку, як: об’єкт і суб’єкти депозитних відносин, інституціональна структура ринку та інструменти, які обертаються на ньому. In the order to determine the term of the deposit market as a separate segment of the financial market, the article has been allocated the main approaches to the definition of “deposit” and presents the author's vision in this category. It investigates such theoretical principles of the deposit market operation as objects and subjects of deposit relationships, institutional structure and market instruments that are traded on it.
