Abstract	The article is concerned with the practical value of Sapir-Whorf hypothesis. It addresses some distinctive resources to construct the author’s position in the light of translating English informational articles into Ukrainian by representatives of Ukrainian diaspora. Attention is focused on the determination of the translators’ world outlook and their way of thinking by the language they speak, which is uncovered by the analysis.
