Managing business processes in project-oriented organizations (case study of the Regional Development Agency of Sumy region)

Abstract

Кваліфікаційна робота присвячена вивченню сутності управління бізнес-процесами в проєктно-орієнтованих організаціях та розробці методів і практичних рекомендацій щодо його ефективної оптимізації. У роботі розглядається еволюція та сучасне розуміння бізнес-процесів у проєктно-орієнтованих середовищах, аналізуються ключові тенденції та дискусії в дослідженнях управління бізнес-процесами, а також узагальнюються методологічні основи та інструменти для аналізу та вдосконалення бізнес-процесів. Актуальність дослідження полягає в нагальній потребі оптимізації та ефективного управління бізнес-процесами в проєктно-орієнтованих організаціях в умовах постійних змін, посилення конкуренції за ресурси та швидкого розвитку технологій. Особливої актуальності набуває те, що добре налагоджені бізнес-процеси стають ключовим фактором успішної реалізації проєктів, а їх оптимізація може значно підвищити фінансову стабільність та конкурентоспроможність таких організацій. Метою кваліфікаційної роботи є розробка методологічних підходів та практичних рекомендацій щодо оптимізації управління бізнес-процесами проєктно-орієнтованої організації. Об'єктом дослідження є бізнес-процеси проєктно-орієнтованої організації. Предметом дослідження є методологічні підходи та практичні інструменти для аналізу, оптимізації та управління бізнес-процесами в контексті проєктно-орієнтованої діяльності. Практичне значення роботи полягає в можливості застосування запропонованих методологій, методів та рекомендацій для підвищення ефективності управління бізнес-процесами в агентствах регіонального розвитку, що покращить їхню здатність залучати інвестиції, реалізовувати проєкти та зміцнювати регіональний розвиток. Робота складається зі вступу, трьох розділів, висновків, списку використаної літератури, який включає 35 пунктів, та одного додатка на 8 сторінках. Загальний обсяг дисертації становить 58 сторінок.

The thesis is devoted to studying the essence of business process management in project-oriented organizations and developing methods and practical recommendations for its effective optimization. The work considers the evolution and modern understanding of business processes in project-centric environments, analyzes key trends and debates in business process management research, and summarizes methodological foundations and tools for analyzing and improving business processes. The study's relevance lies in the urgent need for optimization and effective management of business processes in project-oriented organizations in conditions of constant change, increased competition for resources, and rapid development of technologies. Of particular relevance is that well-established business processes are becoming a key factor in the successful implementation of projects, and their optimization can significantly increase such organizations' financial stability and competitiveness. The purpose of the thesis is to develop methodological approaches and practical recommendations for optimizing the management of business processes of a project oriented organization. The object of the study is the business processes of a project-oriented organization. And the subject is methodological approaches and practical tools for the analysis, optimization, and management of business processes in the context of project oriented activities. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of applying the proposed methodologies, methods, and recommendations to increase the efficiency of business process management in regional development agencies, which will improve their ability to attract investments, implement projects, and strengthen regional development. The work consists of an introduction, three sections, conclusions, a list of references used, which includes 35 items, and one appendix on 8 pages. The total volume of the thesis is 58 pages.
