Abstract	It had been analyzed the influence on sexual function of the retropubic prostatectomy (RP) (40 men) and transvesical prostatectomy (TP) (51 men), because of the benign hiperplasia of the prostate. It had been revealed correlation between the expression of dysuric phenomena and condition of the erectil function. After RP quantity of the points IPSS decreased on 13% more in comparison with TP after a month and on 8% more 3 months later after operation. The erectile dysfunction developed in 18% cases after RP and in 24% cases after TP. The fulfillment RP with the aim to preserve the sexual function is more reasonable.
