Abstract	During industrial activity on Donbas there were many problems two from which one is possible to consider as ecological disaster. One of them - impossibility to provide with potable water the population and service water an industry. The second problem - encroaching of Donbas by mine waters, which one is aroused by mass closure of mines and stoppage of a drainage. An alone exit - use of these waters after their clearing for the domestic and industrial purposes.
