Abstract	Necessity of research in drop-hummer press dynamics is shown.The mathematical model of the drop-hammer press hydrounit for recycling a metal breakage is presented. Allowance of non-stationary processes in hydrosystem is discounted. Settlement dependences are included, and also assumptions necessary for modelling are given.
