Abstract	In the article the writers analyze a situation which was adding up in Ukraine in an orb of amortization policy, secure the main lacks the positive moments and tendencies of change of a state policy. In the second part of the article the existing proposals on perfecting amortization policy in Ukraine with the indicating of their strong and gentle parties are parsed. In a third the vision of the indicated processes is offered, recommendation service life for machines and equipment for earthen and open pit of activities are offered.
