Abstract	Babicheva Y.L (Pensa State Pedagogical University) in the article “Linguo-geographical Aspect of Studying the Dialect Lexics of Sumy-Chernigov Polesje” deals with the mutual connection of language and culture, on the one hand, and forming the students’ outlook based on the analysis of the ethnohistorical and linguoethnic connections. Attention is focused upon geographical names. The etymology of toponyms is based on the material of historic memorials and the dialect lexics of the mentioned territory.
