Abstract	In the article it goes about the aethetic place of poetical and critical heritage in Ukrainian literature of Yuriy Lypa. These issues are seen by the eyes of Havryil Kostelnik, who underlines special role of “I believe” collection. The author stresses that Lypa,-first of all great thinker, was sensitive towards moral, religious and social value of Ukrainian nation, who together with B.I.Antonovich was defending the independence of our state.
