Abstract	The article considers the peculiarities of rendering the lexical quantor in the target text (TT) and its role in reproducing the linguistic world view (LWV) of the source text (ST) in the recipient culture. “The Lord of the Rings” by J.R.R. Tolkien translated by A. Nemirova and O. Mokrovolski has been used as the material of the research. It has been proved that the lexical quantor is an essential element of LWV and contributes to its reproducing in ST in the process of translation provided ethnocultural component is preserved or adapted in the recipient culture.
