Abstract |
Language bias in cross-gender relationship reflects unequal position of men and women in the society so far. It is seen in the semantic changes referring to both genders with clear-cut partiality towards male names at the expense of denigration in female names. This shift covers both denotative and connotative aspects of meaning along with parallelism in related notions showing the favoritism in question.
