Abstract	Questions of mathematical modeling of plasma border in systems of extraction and formation of a beam in ion sources are considered. Theoretical preconditions, algorithm and the computer program, allowing by a method of iterations to find position and the form of plasma border in the given system of electrodes, and as the form of a taken beam are described.
