Abstract	The influence of liquid sample on the process of mass and geometry changes of the graphite tube furnace of C-600 spectrometer as a consequence of wear was investigated. The comparison of worn furnaces under different operation modes was performed. The optimal dose of liquid sample for routine measurements is suggested.
