Abstract	In the paper presented a brief analysis of main types of cyclic fluctuations in economy is given. For theoretical simulation and prognostication of cycles it is suggested to use the “predator–victim” model. This model helps to achieve equilibrium dynamic levels, managing main environmental and economic parameters. There is a perspective of further investigation of the problem.
