Abstract	В статье на материале белорусских и русских фразеологизмов, выражающих и характеризующих эмоцию страха, выявлены общие и отличительные метафорические модели их построения, свидетельствующие об универсальности и различии восприятия, видения и отражения одной из базовых эмоций каждым народом. It is pointed out that the structural patterns reflect both universal features and peculiarities of perception and reflection of this emotion for each nation.
