Abstract |
Tuberculosis is a leading infectious cause of morbidity and mortality in adult worldwide, killing about 1.5 million people every year. HIV/AIDS is an increasingly prominent factor predisposing to tuberculosis infection and mortality in parts of the world where both infections are prevalent.
