Abstract |
The luminescent properties of Eu3+-doped calcium hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2, HAp) nanopowders
prepared by the chemical precipitation and sol-gel method were studied. It was shown the possibility of
improving the properties of HAp as a fluorescent carrier of biological molecules and drugs by control of the
defect formation.
