Abstract	The main priorities of environmental protection and sustainable management of natural resources in the republic of Moldova are the following: 1.Improvement and insurance of the conditions of good governance in the area of environmental protection and sustainable use of natural resources. This objective will be achieved by: Consolidation of the institutional and managerial potential in the area of environmental protection and sustainable use of natural resources; Defining the Action Plan for approximation of the National environmental legislation and initiation of transposition of the European Union Directives. 2.
