Abstract	English writer, ―Queen of Crime‖. Agatha Christie was born on 15 September 1890, Torquay, Devon, England. After her father was dead, she took care of her mother. In 1914 she married a pilot Colonel Archibald Christie. During the First World War, Agatha Miller worked as a nurse in a military hospital and studied pharmacology. At the same time she began to write detective stories.
