Abstract	Microwave(1945) was invented by Percy Spencer, an engineer and inventor who worked on the magnetrons - devices that allow to generate microwave signals required for the first radar. During the war, radar was an extremely important new invention, but with what microwaves can cook, was discovered purely by accident.
