Abstract	Thyroid dysfunction is associated with dyslipidemia, a well-known cardiovascular risk factor. Besides dyslipidemia, thyroid dysfunction can induce insulin resistance, hypertension, endothelial dysfunction. Study objectives: to determine prevalence of hyperuricemia and association with lipid profile in patients with hypothyroidism.
