Abstract	В статье обобщено ретроспективный аспект определения понятия «прибыль», исследованы научные взгляды отечественных и зарубежных ученых относительно трактовки сущности прибыли, в том числе и прибыли банка, систематизированы научные теории и концепции по прибыли в разрезе сущностного и расчетного подходов, предложено собственное видение трактовки категории прибыли. In the article retrospective aspect of the definition of "profit" is summarized, scientific views of domestic and foreign scientists on the interpretation of the essence of profit, including bank profit, are researched, scientific profit theories and concepts from the point of view of the essential and calculated approaches are systematized, the author's vision on interpretation of profit is offered.
