Abstract	The paper focuses on the explication of author’s sensory perception of the world in newspaper informational texts. Sensory elements express author’s inner awareness of factual information and report his impressions via his individual perception of taste, smell, touch, sight, and hearing. These markers of subjectivity perform various stylistic and pragmatic functions. У статті розглядається проблема фокалізації об’єкта у світлі чуттєвого сприйняття автора, яка належить до кола актуальних мовознавчих проблем, що пов’язані з аналізом дискурсу. Автор стисло окреслює теоретичну базу дослідження, зосереджуючи основну увагу на аналізі особливостей дискурсивної семантики лексичних одиниць. Декодуючи суб’єктивні вкраплення сенсорної лексики в інформаційних газетних текстах, читач несвідомо додає до своєї перцептивної картини світу фрагменти картини світу автора.
