Abstract	In this paper we describe the preconditions and content of the basic approaches to supervision in countries and Ukraine, taking into account the scale of foreign capital in their banking systems. В роботі розглядаються передумови та зміст основних підходів до організації банківського нагляду в країнах світу та Україні з урахуванням масштабів присутності іноземного капіталу в їхніх банківських системах.
