Abstract	Successful leadership in higher education requires the ability to use more than one organizational model to respond to different situation and multiple realities. Collaborative efforts that encourage dialogue, an emphasis on the shared values of the mission statement, and the creation of an atmosphere of trust all contribute to integrative processes and solutions.
