Banking risks: Enhancing requirements concerning risk management and information disclosure

Abstract

The article deals with the nature, the basic principles and objectives of the bank risk management system under modern conditions and requirements of regulators to the transparency of its activities. The authors developed a scheme of risk management and justified basic disclosure of banking risks in the context of introducing of International Financial Reporting Standards.

У статі розглянуто сутність, основні принципи та завдання реалізації системи ризик-менеджменту банку в сучасних умовах, а також вимоги регуляторів щодо забезпечення прозорості його діяльності. Авторами розроблено схему управління ризиками банку та обґрунтовано основні напрями розкриття інформації про них на основі міжнародних підходів у контексті переходу банків на Міжнародні стандарти фінансової звітності.
