Abstract	The quality of functioning of the existing system of the state financial monitoring is examined, the major drawbacks as to its functioning are specifically mentioned, a scientific approach to the mechanism of the financial monitoring in the context of the risk-oriented concept of the existing system is suggested. Досліджено якість функціонування існуючої системи державного фінансового контролю, проаналізовано її основні недоліки, визначено науковий підхід до розбудови механізму фінансового моніторингу в рамках ризик-орієнтованої концепції фінансового контролю.
