Abstract	Стаття описує практику діяльності наглядових рад. Особлива увага приділена країнам, що розвиваються. Статистичні дані представлені по українській банківській системі щодо розміру наглядових рад банків, та їх складу. The article describes supervisory board practices. Special attention is given to the emerging markets, especially Ukraine. An empirical evidence of Ukrainian banks’ supervisory boards’ sizes and composition is given.
