Abstract	У статті розглянуто науково-методичні підходи до оцінювання розвитку фінансового сектору. Представлено сутнісну характеристику поняття «фінансовий розвиток» та «місцевий фінансовий розвиток», як складової оцінки фінансового сектора країни. Систематизовано підходи до оцінювання фінансової глибини як узагальнюючої характеристики розвитку фінансового сектору. Проведено оцінювання глибини фінансового сектору України та визначено її вплив на економічне зростання країни. The scientific and methodological approaches to the assessment of the financial sector are presented in the article. It is presented essential characteristics of "financial development" and "local financial development" as part of assessing the financial sector of the country. Also are systematized approaches of the evaluation of financial depth as generalizing characteristics of the financial sector. It is made evaluation of the depth of the financial sector of Ukraine and determined its impact on economic growth.
