Abstract	У статті на підставі аналізу сучасного стану банківської системи України прослідковуються тенденції до посилення конкуренції в цьому секторі фінансового ринку. Серед шляхів, які дають змогу банкам вистояти в конкурентній боротьбі – нарощування їх капітальної бази та правильно обрана маркетингова стратегія. In the whole world the processes become stronger that are bound with globalization of financial market and concentration of capital. It takes place against a background of aggravation of competition fight between different financial and credit institutes at the interior and international financial markets. In the article on the grounds of the present state of Ukraine’s bank system the tendencies are retraced to the aggravation of competition in the whole sector of financial market. Among the ways that give the banks a chance to hold out against the competition fight – the accumulation of capital base and the right choice of marketing strategy.
