Антисоциальные явления начала ХХI века: история и современность

Abstract

В статье дан анализ такого антисоциального явления как проституция, превратившегося в начале ХХI века в один из элементов привычного общественного уклада городской жизни. Автором подчеркивается, что проституция напрямую связана с криминалом и наркобизнесом, с распространением порнографии, а также с ее пропагандой в печатных средствах массовой информации и на телевидении. Сделан вывод о том, что проституция – социальное явление, требующее серьезного государственного контроля. На примере Курской губернии показана борьба провинциальной полиции “за чистоту нравственности”.

Prostituion as an antisocial phenomenon, which turned into the ordinary feature of city life at the beginning of the twenty first century is analyzed in this article. The author is paying attention to the fact that prostitution is closely connected with criminal and narcotics industry, dissemination of pornography and its promotion in mass media. There is a conclusion that prostitution is a social phenomenon which must be under a strict governmental control. The history of the dissemination of prostitution and its regislative regulation in tsarist Russia are described on the wide factual material. The accent is made on the analysis of working experience of law-endorsement authorities of Russian empire in preventing the prostitution, which was legalized and, at the same time, estblished as a socially dangerous act. The struggle of Kursk police for “the morality purity” is shown on the example of Kursk region.
