Abstract	Розглянуто значення операцій первинного розміщення цінних паперів на ринку капіталу для економічного розвитку країни. Визначено роль андерайтингу в процесі проведення операцій ІРО. З’ясовано, що основними андерайтерами на сучасному етапі розвитку фінансового ринку в Україні виступають банківські установи. In the article the author examines the place of operations initial public offering of securities in the capital market for economic development. The role of underwriting operations during the IPO is considered. It was found that the main underwriter for the current stage of development of financial markets in Ukraine are the banking institutions.
