Abstract	Статья рассматривает лексику английской поэзии в диахронии, определяя пути отбора и комбинирования лексики в классицизме, романтизме и реализме. The article deals with the vocabulary of verses in diachrony. The systematic approach is suggested. The main ways of vocabulary selection and combination in classicism, romantism and realism are defined.
