Abstract	На основі аналізу наукових праць вітчизняних і зарубіжних дослідників узагальнено існуючі підходи що до сутності фінансового посередництва, визначено його роль і місце в контексті взаємодії фінансового та реального секторів економіки. Проведено економетричну оцінку ролі фінансового сектору в забезпеченні економічного зростання. On the basis of analysis of scientific works of domestic and foreign researchers existent approaches concerning the essence of financial intermediation, its role and place in the context of coope ration of financial and real sectors are generalized in the article. The econometric estimation of the role of financial sector in providing economic growth is conducted.
