Abstract	У статті досліджено механізм виникнення фінансових конгломератів у різних країнах світу, а також особливості їх діяльності як фінансових посередників глобального масштабу. Розроблено періодизацію становлення і розвитку фінансових конгломератів в розвинутих країнах. Запропоновано групування фінансових конгломератів за рівнем їх активності на світовому фінансовому ринку. In the article the mechanism of beginnings of financial conglomerates in different countries and features of their activity as financial intermediaries of global scale are investigated. The division into the periods of formation and development of financial conglomerates in the developed countries is worked out, grouping of financial conglomerates on the activity level in the world financial market is offered.
