Abstract	У статті розглядаються основні підходи до класифікації інституційних інвесторів як суб’єктів фінансового ринку серед вітчизняних і зарубіжних науковців. На основі проведеного дослідження визначаються ключові ознаки, які можуть бути покладені в розширену класифікацію інституційних інвесторів. The article reviews the main approaches to the classification of institutional investors as financial market participants among domestic and foreign scholars. Based on the study identifies key features that can be the basis for enhanced classification of institutional investors.
