Abstract	Исследуется проблема отношения Московской церкви к культурному наследию прошлого, рассматриваются противоречивые тенденции в осуществление этой церковью культурологической миссии, анализируются причины последующей культурной изоляции православия в России. The problem of the relations of the Moscow Church to cultural heritage of the past is analysed, contradictory trends in the implementation of this church culturological mission is considered, reasons for the subsequent cultural isolation of Orthodoxy in Russia is researched.
