Abstract	Статья посвящена исследованию свойств и функций информации в кратком газетном сообщении. Ценность, полезность, новизна и истинность рассматриваются как основные свойства текстовой информации. Основными функциями информации являются функция передачи сведений/фактов, негэнтропийная функция, функция текстовой информации как меры разнообразия. The article deals with characteristic features and functions of information in short newspaper reports.Value, usefulness, originality and authenticity are considered as the basic characteristic features of the text information. The main functions of information are the function of transmitting facts, negentropy function, the function of the text information as the measure of diversity.
