Abstract	У статті розглядається надзвичайно актуальну проблему підвищення ефективності викладання філологічних дисциплін за рахунок використання ІКТ, розглядаються дидактичні можливості ІКТ щодо навчання іноземних мов, наводяться способи застосування ІКТ для навчання мов, навчальні функції ІКТ, що відносяться безпосередньо до навчання дисциплінам мовознавчого циклу. The article deals with an actual problem of improving language teaching while using information and communication technology; didactical potential of ICT for teaching languages are considered in the paper; ways of using ICT for languages studying are defined and teaching functions of ICT as for teaching philology are examined as well.
