Abstract

Актуальність дослідження історії розвитку судового красномовства, коріння якої сягають часів античності, викликана тим, що феномен змагальності, на що спирається судова риторика, і сьогодні обумовлює особливості суспільного буття. Пошуки переконливої аргументації, вдосконалення мовлення, розробка прийомів ефективного впливу знайшли гідне місце в працях відомих давньогрецьких ораторів.

Relevance of research the history of judicial eloquence, whose roots date back to antiquity, due to the fact that the phenomenon of competition, based on judicial rhetoric even nowadays forms the features of social life. Since ancient times, people compete with others in different areas of life, including the courts, which have to defend their own interests. Judicial rhetoric can be seen from the ontological position, through the prism of philosophical and ethical issues, the struggle between good and evil. Issues of seeking for convincing argument, speech improvement, development of techniques to influence effectively found their rightful place in the works of famous Greek speakers.
