Abstract	The article looks at the advantages of student-centered learning, which aims at focusing on the learner and their needs, rather than being centered around the teacher's input. Teacher's role in student-centered classroom is described. Розглядаються переваги особистісно орієнтованого навчання, яке покликано допомогти судентам максимально виявити свої моожливості та сформувати мотивацію до навчання протягом життя. Значну увагу приділено особливостям взаємодії викладача і студента.
