Abstract	The paper suggests different techniques for taking into account of dissipative forces while simulating dynamic processes in hydraulic drives. The authors consider also the influence of a technique for approximation of the force of contact friction on the reliability of results of simulation of dynamics of motion of drive components. The paper suggests a technique for taking into account of the force of contact friction that permits to exclude numerical fluctuations while simulating dynamic processes in a hydraulic drive.
