Abstract	Considered the main principles of green banking through awakening warnings claimed by EcoSummit 2012. To overcome the problem of green banking development in Ukraine the author proposes not only to use green technologies and ecological programs, but to involve society namely students from the very first year of studying in order to bring up a Ukrainian bank elite. Розглядаються основні принципи “зеленого” банкінґу через призму пробуджуючих застережень, проголошених ЕкоСаммітом 2012. Для подолання проблеми розвитку “зеленого” банкінґу в Україні автор пропонує не тільки використовувати “зелені”технології та екологічні програми, а й вволікати суспільство, перш за все студентство із перших років навчання, щоб сформувати українську банківську еліту. Author considers the main principles of green banking, its development in Ukraine and proposes not only to use green technologies and ecological programs, but to involve society namely students into this process.
