Abstract	У статті мова йде про розвиток господарювання в сільській місцевості на території одного з повітів колишньої Полтавської губернії в ХІХ ст. Звертається увага на особливості економічного й соціально-культурного розвитку регіону. In this article we are writing about economic development in rural areas in the territory of one of the former districts of Poltava province in the nineteenth century. Attention is drawn to the peculiarities of economic and socio-cultural development of the region.
