Abstract	The results of the implementation of EU policy in the field of social protection and social security are multidimensional particularly in the aspects of income and living standards, access to qualitative health care, education and work opportunities. Social integration is an instrument for achievement of these results especially promoting employment and poverty alleviation as well as monitoring the progress made in social protection.
