Abstract	У статті розглядається соціально-культурний феномен свята. Визначаються концептуально-методологічні засади цього явища в його культурологічному контексті. Акцентується увага на тому, що свято є екзистенційною основою буття людини. The article deals with socio-cultural phenomenon of the holiday. Focuses on the conceptual and methodological bases of this phenomenon in his culturological context. It is shown that the holiday is the existential basis of human being.
