Abstract	Translation can be called one of the most important technologies of culture that helps to change the environment of a person. Without this invention some cultures created in different languages would remain divided and self-isolated and it could hardly contribute to the progress of mankind. The invention of translation as a method of transferring cultures eventually allowed people to start creating a modern global world on the basis of supplementation, exchange and borrowing rather than suppression and devaluation of this or that culture.
