Abstract	Розглянуто особливості функціонування загальноєвропейської та української енергетичних систем. Проаналізовано проблеми балансування української енергосистеми, обумовлені стрімким розвитком відновлюваної енергетики в країні. Окреслено процедуру та переваги синхронізації Об’єднаної енергетичної системи України з ENTSO-E. Peculiarities of functioning European and Ukrainian energy systems are considered. The problems of balancing the Ukrainian energy system due to the rapid development of renewable energy in the country are analyzed. The procedure and advantages of synchronization of the United Energy System of Ukraine with ENTSO-E are outlined.
