Набуття навички письма іноземними студентами за допомогою вебзастосунку Google форми на заняттях з української мови як іноземної

Abstract

Стаття присвячена мовній підготовці іноземних громадян за допомогою вебзастосунку Google Форми від компанії Google як одного із методів навчання студентів, шляхом створення граматичних вправ. Досліджено можливість формування навички письма в іноземних громадян під час використання вебзастосунку Google Форми в умовах карантинних обмежень, дистанційного навчання. З’ясовано, що навичка письма – це техніка письма, тобто вміння від руки зображати літери, з’єднувати їх у слова, застосовувати знання граматичних правил мови. Навичка письма тісно пов'язана з усіма видами мовленнєвих навичок: говорінням, читанням, слуханням і тому вважається найповільнішою і найскладнішою в опановуванні іноземними студентами. Проаналізований набір основних налаштувань Google Форми дає можливість структурувати граматичні вправи за розділами, регулювати кількість питань, обов’язковість виконання, обчислювати підсумковий бал, обмежувати час виконання, зберігати дані у форматі Excel, показувати помилки та, за потреби, надсилати результати кожному студенту. Розроблені та апробовані граматичні вправи за навчальною метою є підготовчими, тренувальними, контрольними. Встановлено, що найсуттєвішими технічними недоліками під час роботи з Google Формами як з граматичними вправами є час на їх підготовку, відсутність символів українського алфавіту тощо. Головним педагогічним недоліком є неможливість опанування навички каліграфії. Автор дійшов висновку, що Google Форми слід розуміти як допоміжний метод навчання іноземних студентів, який варто впроваджувати в навчальний процес поряд з традиційною роботою в аудиторії, не лише в умовах дистанційного навчання. Окреслено перспективи подальших досліджень і розробок у частині впровадження в навчальний процес на основі Google Форм (або подібних форм) контрольних тестувань, тренувальних вправ, дистанційних курсів.

The article is devoted to the language training of foreign citizens using web application Google forms of Google company for creating grammatical exercises as one of the methods of teaching students. The possibility of forming writing skills of foreign citizens by using the web application Google Forms under quarantine restrictions and distance learning is investigated. It was clarified that writing skills are a writing technique, that is, the ability to depict letters by hand, connect them into words, apply knowledge of the grammatical rules of speech. Writing skills are closely related to all types of speech skills: speaking, reading, listening and therefore is considered the slowest and most difficult to master by foreign students. The analyzed set of basic settings of Google Forms allows you to structure grammatical exercises by sections, adjust the number of questions, obligation of performance, calculate the final score, limit the execution time, store data in Excel format, show errors and, if necessary, send results to every student. Developed and tested grammatical exercises for educational purposes are preparatory, training, and control exercises. It is established that the most significant technical shortcomings when working with Google Forms as grammatical exercises are the time for their preparation, the absence of the Ukrainian alphabet symbols, etc. The main pedagogical disadvantage is the impossibility of mastering the calligraphy skills. The author concluded that Google Forms should be understood as an auxiliary method of teaching foreign students, which should be implemented in the educational process along with traditional work in the classroom, not only in distance learning. The prospects for further research and development in terms of implementation of control tests, training exercises, distance courses in the educational process on the basis of Google Forms (or similar forms) are outlined.
