Abstract

Віртуальні активи, як засіб платежу та торгівлі між економічними суб'єктами нового покоління, є однією з найбільш обговорюваних тем XXI століття. Входження цифрових активів в економічний простір можна визначити як явище, що в умовах цифровізації на національному та наднаціональному рівнях є інновацією у фінансовій системі. Стрімке проникнення віртуальних активів протягом останнього десятиліття в публічну сферу сприймається неоднозначно, адже їх унікальність, що виражається в децентралізації, анонімності, незалежності від центральних банків, в поєднанні з використанням інформаційних технологій, завоювало як багато прихильників, так і привернуло увагу критиків, в тому числі на державному рівні провідних країн світу.

Virtual assets, as a means of payment and trade between economic entities of the new generation, are one of the most discussed topics of the XXI century. The entry of digital assets into the economic space can be defined as a phenomenon that, in the conditions of digitalization at the national and supranational levels, is an innovation in the financial system. The rapid penetration of virtual assets into the public sphere during the last decade is perceived ambiguously, because their uniqueness, expressed in decentralization, anonymity, independence from central banks, combined with the use of information technologies, won both many supporters and attracted the attention of critics, including at the state level of the world's leading countries.
